At Tuesday’s World Cup victory rally in Los Angeles, Abby Wambach and the United States women’s national team led the crowd in a modified version of the “I believe that we will chant,” which was altered to reflect that the team had, in fact, won the tournament.

Hundreds of fans gathered in downtown Los Angeles near the Staples Center to welcome the team home from Canada after its successful World Cup campaign.

The U.S. beat Japan 5–2 in Sunday's final to clinch its third World Cup title and its first since 1999.
