Giovani Dos Santos made his debut for the LA Galaxy on Thursday night and came off the bench to score in the 76th minute.

Dos Santos' goal gave the Galaxy a 4–1 lead over Central FC in CONCACAF Champions League play. It came off an assist from Galaxy midfielder Rafael Garcia.

The Galaxy signed Dos Santos last month, with the midfielder agreeing to a 4 1/2-year deal after leaving Villarreal. The 26-year-old Dos Santos had spent his entire career playing in Europe.
