With the pressure continuing to reach new heights for Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho and the club just having conceded a late equalizer at home, Willian delivered a massive boost for the club in the Champions League.

Willian's perfect 83rd-minute free kick restored the lead for Chelsea and gave the club a much-needed 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv. The win relieved some of the tension surrounding Mourinho and put an end to a four-game winless streak across all competitions.

Chelsea had gone ahead in the first half after Willian's cross was put into Dynamo Kyiv's net by defender Aleksandar Dragovic. The same player went from goat to temporary hero in the 77th minute, with Dragovic scoring off a corner to bring the visitors back to level ground. Then Willian happened.

The Brazilian midfielder set the Stamford Bridge faithful alight with his right-footed effort that curled over the wall and secured a huge three points for the Blues. Chelsea climbed into second place in Group G with the win, three points behind Porto.
