Watch: USA's Alejandro Bedoya scores for third time in four games

Wednesday February 3rd, 2016

After going almost nine months without scoring a goal, Alejandro Bedoya has found his attacking touch.

The U.S. men's national team and FC Nantes midfielder scored for the third time in four games on Wednesday, putting Nantes ahead of Gazelec Ajaccio 2-0 in Ligue 1 play at the time.

Bedoya, who also turned in a back-heel assist on Nantes's first goal, worked a give-and-go combination with Emiliano Sala and finished from close range. He started the sequence at the midfield line, pushing forward and springing the on-side Sala down the right. Bedoya received the return pass and scored despite taking tumble after a challenge from on-rushing goalkeeper Clement Maury in the 23rd minute:

It was Sala who scored Nantes's opener in the 14th minute off Bedoya's smooth pass:

Nantes returns to action Saturday against Toulouse.
