U.S. Soccer has revealed its new crest after teasing the logo change last week.

The new crest is a more simple design, with the letters USA placed above red and white stripes. The previous crest featured a soccer ball over the letters U.S. along with stars and stripes reminiscent of the American flag.

On Friday, U.S. Soccer replaced the logo as its avatar on its social media accounts with a blank white space, signaling a change was coming. It also posted a video of the crest being removed from the gates of the federation headquarters.

The updated crest will debut on new jerseys to be worn in the men’s World Cup qualifying matches against Guatemala in March.
