Diego Costa appeared to bite Gareth Barry and was sent off, Romelu Lukaku scored twice, and Everton beat Chelsea 2–0 in a busy Saturday match for both sides.

Costa and Barry engaged in a scuffle in the final minutes of the game after Lukaku’s late brace against his former team put Everton ahead. Costa and Barry had words, butted heads, and Costa appeared to lean in, whisper something into his opponent’s ear, and take a bite out of his neck. He received his second yellow card of the game and headed for the locker room.

Barry was also sent off shortly afterward.

It’s still unclear if Costa actually bit Barry, but take a look for yourself below.

Here was Lukaku’s first goal, a nice show of skill and touch to give Everton the lead.
