Hlompho Kekana gave South Africa a 2–1 lead over Cameroon during their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match Saturday with a strike from beyond midfield.

In the 50th minute, Kekana caught Cameroon’s goalkeeper playing too far in front of his goal, and unleashed a strike that remained in the air until it hit the back of the net.

The 31st Africa Cup of Nations will take place in 2017.
