U.S. Soccer has come under fire in the midst of the U.S. women's national team's wage discrimination complaint filed last week, and the story that has spread among mainstream media outlets has now become a focus of The Daily Show.

Trevor Noah dedicated a segment to the unequal pay dispute on his show Tuesday night, less than a week after the U.S. women sent their complaint to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for review. The development comes on the heels of an ongoing legal battle between the U.S. women and U.S. Soccer over the validity of the most recent collective bargaining agreement terms–under which the current pay scale currently resides.
