Sounders and U.S. national team forward Jordan Morris scored in his third straight match for Seattle on Saturday by netting the game-winner vs. the Columbus Crew

Sounders forward Jordan Morris scored a late game-winner on Saturday and lifted Seattle to a 1–0 home win over the Columbus Crew.

In the 88th minute at CenturyLink Field, Morris capitalized on a putback from close range after Crew goalkeeper Steve Clark blocked Oalex Anderson’s initial attempt. The goal was the third in as many games for the United States international.

After not scoring in his first five professional matches, he opened his account on April 16 and has been in excellent form. Morris entered the season with an enormous amount of hype, and after his slow start now has two game-winning goals in his first eight matches.
