Lionel Messi tied Argentina’s all-time goal record with a score against Venezuela on Saturday in the Copa America quarterfinals.
Messi entered the night with 53 goals, one short of Gabriel Batistuta’s Argentina record.
Nicolás Gaitan made the perfectly timed pass as Messi received it for a three-on-two before finding the net.
