Cole Custer wins ARCA Series race at Pocono Raceway

LONG POND, Pa. (AP) Cole Custer raced to his first career ARCA Series victory Saturday at Pocono Raceway.

The 17-year-old Custer became the ninth first-time winner in the series this season. He drives for JR Motorsports.

Grant Enfinger was second, followed by Matt Kurzejewski, Austin Theriault and Josh Williams.

Enfinger maintained his commanding lead on the series points lead. Custer has one win this season in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Nick Igdalsky, vice president and COO of Pocono Raceway, was 11th on home track.

Pole-sitter Frank Kimmel was 15th and got into a post-race shouting match with Bobby Gerhart. Kimmel's pole was the 43rd of his career, tying him with Iggy Katona for the ARCA career record.
