Video: Bruins’ Daniel Paille Leaves Game After Taking Slapshot To Face

Boston Bruins forward Daniel Paille left Monday’s game against the New York Islanders after taking a slapshot from Steve Staios to the face, according to Yahoo! Sports. A video of the play is embedded below.

Paille, 27, was able to get up and leave the ice on his own power; he did not return to the game and Bruins Head Coach Claude Julien said that the puck hit Paille near the nose and that he will see a specialist tonight, according to Yahoo! Sports. The Bruins won the game, 6-2.
