NHL Winter Classic moved due to weather concerns

Monday January 2nd, 2012

The NHL has decided to push the Winter Classic from 1 p.m. Monday to 3 p.m., according to the Associated Press.

The Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers will play at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and a change in the weather forecast forced the time switch. Last season's Winter Classic, which was in Pittsburgh, was also moved due to rain.
