Mass. Governor Says Tim Thomas Snub Showed Lack Of Grace

Massachusetts governor, Deval Patrick believes that the decision to not attend the White House ceremony by Tim Thomas because of his political views reflected our countries growing lack of courtesy, according to ESPN Boston.

"He's a phenomenal hockey player and he's entitled to his views," Patrick said in an interview on WTKK-FM. "It just feels like we are losing in this country basic courtesy and grace."

Patrick said he believes that there is a certain etiquette in regards to interaction with our nation’s leader, which is built on the foundation of respect.
