Browns DT Phil Taylor To Undergo Possible Season-Ending Pectoral Surgery

Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Phil Taylor torn his left pectoral muscle and will undergo surgery next week that “could” end his season, according to Cleveland.com.

"He's going to miss a significant amount of time ... more months than weeks," head coach Pat Shurmur said "It's too early to speculate how long that will be. It's just one of those things that happened.

Taylor suffered the injury while lifting weights at the Browns training facility on Thursday, according to Cleveland.com. Taylor, the team’s first-round pick in the 2011 draft, started all 16 games last season for Cleveland, recording 59 tackles and four sacks.
