Report: Drew Sutton Re-Dealt From Pirates To Rays

Minor league infielder Drew Sutton has been traded from the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Bill Chastain of It's his second move in 24 hours -- he was just traded from the Atlanta Braves to the Pirates yesterday.

Sutton now goes to the Rays in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations. He's expected to be in uniform tonight when the Rays take on the Toronto Blue Jays. Sutton, 28, was hitting .270 in 38 games this season for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves. He has a smattering of big-league experience with the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox; he's a career .258 hitter.
