Peyton Manning's No. 18 jersey topped sales from sites licensed by Fanatics.com after the first week of the season according to Sports Business Daily. During the week of Sept. 4 to Sept. 10, sales of the Broncos quarterback's jersey increased 42% compared to the prior week.

"Sales figures from the first week of the NFL season on various sites administered by licensed sports e-tailer Fanatics.com point to one inescapable conclusion: Broncos QB Peyton Manning still moves product even after more than a year on the sideline due to injury."

Manning's sales contributed to a 131% increase in team sales for the Broncos who ranked fourth overall behind the Cowboys, Steelers and 49ers.
