Baltimore Orioles left-handed pitcher Randy Wolf will have Tommy John surgery and miss the entire 2013 season, reports the Baltimore Sun.

“I won't be able to pitch until 2014, and yes, I will pitch in 2014,” Wolf wrote in an email to the paper.

Wolf was released by the Milwaukee Brewers on Aug. 22 and signed with the Orioles as a free agent Aug. 31. In two starts with the Orioles, Wolf was 2-0 with a 5.28 ERA. Wolf also underwent Tommy John surgery in July 2005 as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies, missing the rest of that season and the first half of the 2006 season. For his career, Wolf is 132-117 with a 4.20 ERA in 376 games.
