Detroit Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock has been selected to coach Canada's Olympic men's hockey team, according to a Sportsnet report.
Babcock's staff will include the St. Louis Blues’ Ken Hitchcock, the Dallas Stars' Lindy Ruff and the Boston Bruins' Claude Julien. It's the same staff -- with the exception of former Edmonton Oilers coach Ralph Krueger -- that coached Canada to the gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
