Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch: I personally injected A-Rod with PEDs

Anthony Bosch, the founder of the former Florida clinic Biogenesis, said in an interview on CBS' "60 Minutes" Sunday night that he injected New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez with performance-enhancing drugs.
It was the first time Bosch has spoken publicly about his clients at Biogenesis, 14 of whom have been suspended for using PEDs, including Rodriguez.
Bosch told CBS' Scott Pelley that he personally injected Rodriguez with drugs because he was "scared of needles."
"So at times," Bosch said, "he would ask me to inject."
He said that Rodriguez used testosterone, insulin growth factor one, human growth hormone, and "some different forms of peptides."

According to Bosch, Rodriguez paid about $12,000 a month for performance-enhancing drugs. He first met the MLB All-Star in 2010, shortly before he hit his 600th home run. He wanted to get to a bigger number — 800 — and wanted Bosch's help.
"Alex cared. Alex wanted to know. He would study the product. He would study the substance," Bosch said. "He would study the dosages because he wanted to achieve all his human performance or in this case, sports performance objectives. And the most important one was the 800 Home Run Club. ... Which was only going to have one member — Alex Rodriguez."
