Red Wings and Team USA goalie Jimmy Howard out at least one week

Detroit Red Wings and U.S. Olympic team goalie Jimmy Howard will miss at least one week after injuring his knee, according to the Associated Press.

Howard hurt his left knee on Monday night in Detroit's 4-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues. The goalie had missed time earlier this season with an injury to the same knee.

Howard is one of the three goalies on the United States Olympic men's hockey team, but he could be replaced if he has not healed enough by the Feb. 11 deadline for final roster submissions.
