Tiger Woods has announced that he has withdrawn from the field for this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational due to continued back pain.

Woods withdrew from the Honda Classic during the final round earlier this month with back spasms, but was able to compete in the next week's WGC-Cadillac Championship where he finished tied for 25th.

The reigning PGA Player of the Year won the Arnold Palmer Invitational each of the last two years and eight times total in his career.
