German midfielder Thomas Mueller scored the game's first goal in the 18th minute, his fifth of the World Cup. Mueller is tied with Holland's Wesley Sneijder, Spain's David Villa and Uruguay's Diego Forlan for the Golden Boot lead with one match to go.
