Protests in Brazil

Widespread demonstrations in Brazil -- many of them outside of soccer stadiums -- have quickly become the main story of the 2013 Confederations Cup. With Brazil preparing to also host the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, tens of thousands of Brazilian protesters have displayed their anger against the government for the poor quality of public services that they receive.
