Lewandowski's contract with Dortmund runs out after this campaign, after which his new five-year deal with Bayern will kick in. The contract is reported to be worth €11 million (a shade under $15 million) per season. Another member of that 2012-2013 Dortmund team, Mario Götze, made a similar arrangement with Bayern Munich last season, though he didn't play against his future team in the Champions League final due to a hamstring injury.
