Orlando City already has one recognizable former Brazilian national team and AC Milan star in the fold, and it is going for a second.

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said Friday, upon introducing the club's new signings, that the Rossoneri have entered into negotiations with Orlando City regarding Robinho. According to AC Milan's official English-language website, Galliani said:

"Robinho wants to go to the American MLS. The negotiations with Orlando have begun. They want Robinho, but we’re not close to concluding the deal. The relationship with Robinho remains excellent though and it is just one of the many negotiations that are ongoing."

Should the 30-year-old Robinho join Orlando City, it would reunite him with Kaka, with whom he has played for club and country. Robinho's productivity has fallen off in recent seasons, with him scoring just five goals in all competitions for AC Milan last season. His last double-digit-goal campaign came in 2011-12, when he scored 10 goals.

Prior to joining AC Milan in 2010, Robinho played for Santos in his native Brazil, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
