Manchester United signed defender Marcos Rojo from Sporting Lisbon and loaned winger Nani to Lisbon on Tuesday.

The two clubs agreed to a €20 million transfer fee for Rojo to join United. Rojo, a 24-year-old defender, discussed the move on Argentinian radio, via The Guardian.

“It’s a dream to play at Manchester United and I am very proud of having the chance of working with [Louis] van Gaal,” he said. “I spoke with Juan Sebasti·n VerÛn about Manchester United when we were at Estudiantes. I have always liked English football, and I should adapt to this new playing style easily.”
