Jozy Altidore got back on the scoresheet for the USA for his first international goal since the last friendly prior to the World Cup, and he did so in a very similar manner.

Altidore, playing in his hometown of Boca Raton, Florida, tallied his 24th goal for the USA in the 10th minute against Honduras Tuesday night, matching his effort against Nigeria back in June almost stride for stride.

Michael Bradley, both times, was the architect, playing an accurate diagonal ball down the left flank. Altidore took it down with the top of his chest and took on his defender 1-v-1 before cutting to his right foot. From there, Altidore laced a shot inside the far post to open the scoring against Los Catrachos.

When it seemed like Altidore was on track heading into the World Cup, he was hurt about 20 minutes into the USA's opener against Ghana and sat out the remainder of the competition with a hamstring injury. Tuesday was his third match back in the red, white and blue since the World Cup.
