CONCACAF announces dates, venues for 2015 Gold Cup
The U.S. men's national team will play 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage matches in Dallas, Boston and Kansas City, CONCACAF announced on Tuesday.
The competition, which will take place across 13 North American cities from July 7 to July 26, is the most prestigious regional tournament for the federation, which represents North America, Central American and the Caribbean. A total of 12 teams compete in the tournament.
The U.S., which is the seeded team in Group A, will play matches at Toyota Stadium (Frisco, Texas), Gillete Stadium (Foxborough, Mass.) and Sporting Park (Kansas City, Kan.). Those matches will take place on July 7, July 10 and July 13, respectively.
Nine other American cities will host matches: Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York Philadelphia and Phoenix. Toronto will also serve as a host during the group stage.

The Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Ga.), MT Bank Stadium (Baltimore, Md.), MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, N.J.) and Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia, Pa.) will serve as venues for the knockout stage of the competition.
The U.S. men's national team won the 2013 Gold Cup, defeating Panama in the final 1-0 at Soldier Field in Chicago. If the U.S. wins the 2015 Gold Cup, it will automatically qualify for the 2017 Confederations Cup.
The tournament's other seeded teams are Costa Rica and Mexico. Costa Rica will play its group stage matches in Los Angeles, Houston and Toronto, while Mexico will play its group stage matches in Chicago, Phoenix and Charlotte.
Other teams in the competition are Canada, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti and Cuba. French Guyana and Honduras will compete in a playoff to determine the tournament's final spot.
