Aron Johannsson used to make his living scoring goals at NRGi Park for AGF Aarhus in Denmark, and he made himself at home there with the U.S. men's national team at a vital juncture.

With the USA tied with Denmark 1-1 in the second half of their friendly, Johannsson put the finishing touch on a well-worked goal for the Americans to restore their lead in the 66th minute.

Michael Bradley's pinpoint lofted ball over the top fell for Jozy Altidore in the box, and instead of firing on goal for a chance at his second score of the game, Altidore flicked a short cross off the outside of his right foot for Johannsson. The AZ Alkmaar forward, who otherwise had a rather quiet game, completed the simple finish for his third international goal and final act before being subbed off for Rubio Rubin:

Altidore had opened the scoring for the U.S. in the 19th minute with a spectacular solo effort before Nicklas Bendtner tied it up in the 33rd. Bendtner repeated the feat in the 83rd minute, rifling home off a failed clearance to pull the Danes level.
