A week after making headlines by scoring against Mexico's senior national team, Jordan Morris will get the chance to do it again against El Tri's U-23 squad.

Morris headlines coach Andi Herzog's 20-man roster for this Wednesday's U.S. U-23 friendly against Mexico at StubHub Center (11 p.m. ET, UniMas), as preparations for October's CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament continue.

Jordan Morris turns Alamodome into field of dreams for USA vs. Mexico

Morris, the 20-year-old Stanford sophomore who opened the scoring in the USA's April 15 2-0 win over Mexico in San Antonio, is joined by the likes of Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil and Southampton goalkeeper Cody Cropper.

Last month, the U.S. U-23s split a pair of friendlies in Europe, beating Bosnia-Herzegovina 5-2 and falling to Denmark 1-0.

Gil tallied three assists in the win over Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Morris scored one of the goals. The other goal scorers–Mario Rodriguez, Benji Joya, Alonso Hernandez and Fatai Alashe–are all part of this week's camp, which kicks off Monday.

Here is the full U.S. roster:
