Twitter reacts to Sepp Blatter's resignation announcement

FIFA president Sepp Blatter announced on Tuesday that he plans to resign amid a corruption scandal engulfing the organization.
Blatter was re-elected to a fifth term as FIFA's president last week, just days after the U.S. Justice Department indicted 14 FIFA officials and business partners on a variety of corruption charges. Blatter defeated Prince Ali bin-Al Hussein of Jordan in the election, winning 133 votes on the first ballot to Ali's 73. Despite Blatter not receiving two-thirds of the vote on the first ballot, Ali conceded before the simple majority second ballot.
On Tuesday, he called an "extraordinary congress" to elect his successor.
Players and pundits reacted to the surprising news with a mix of glee, snark and optimism.
Ding dong the witch is dead. Daddy got his hand caught in the cookie jar🙈☕️🐸.

Blatter wasn't sole responsible, more have to follow. Transparency and voting reform, then we move on and bring back ethics. #FIFA
