The Women's World Cup is down to its knockout stage, and the USA has a favorable draw through to the semifinals.

Given how the U.S. played in the group stage, though, should the Americans be confident going forward? The lack of production in the attack has left room for improvement, although its defense has been stout, holding Group of Death foes to just a single goal, that scored by Australia in the first half of the opening game.
