Podcast: Gold Cup quarters, Giovani Dos Santos, MLS All-Star drama

The CONCACAF Gold Cup is down to its final eight teams, but it's hardly unfolded in the manner that most expected.
Caribbean teams have been the story of the tournament thus far, with the U.S. struggling (relatively, anyway–the Americans did win their group) and Mexico surprisingly finishing second in its group. What do we make of the group stage, and what do we think of Jurgen Klinsmann's changes to the U.S. roster for the knockout stage, most notably Jozy Altidore being sent back to Toronto FC?
Giovani Dos Santos is on his way to MLS as the league's latest landmark signing. How big of a signing is the Mexican star for the league, and what does it mean for the Galaxy, both now and for the future?
Dos Santos won't be an MLS All-Star, but a couple of other high-profile signings with the same amount of league minutes to date as dos Santos were named to the All-Star squad by commissioner Don Garber. What's our take on Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard being tabbed as his two picks? Is it much ado about nothing, or is there something to the widespread consternation among fans and some outspoken MLS players?
SI's Brian Straus, Avi Creditor and Liviu Bird delve into all of that in the newest Planet Fútbol Podcast. Listen below (and subscribe to us on iTunes here!)
