Watch: Steven Gerrard scores in MLS debut with Los Angeles Galaxy

Longtime Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard scored Friday night during his MLS debut as a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Gerrard scored in the game's 38th minute off of a loose ball in the box, pulled the Galaxy even at 2–2 with the San Jose Earthquakes en route to a come-from-behind 5-2 victory. Earlier, he had earned a penalty that Robbie Keane converted, and Gerrard assisted on Keane's eventual game-winner and also hit the crossbar with a free kick in a dominant second half.
The 35 year old signed an 18-month deal with the club on Jan. 7 and officially joined Los Angeles earlier this month, making his debut in an International Champions Cup exhibition match against Club America.
