Watch: Juan Agudelo scores bicycle kick golazo in MLS playoffs

Watch Juan Agudelo's incredible bicycle kick for the New England Revolution vs. D.C. United in the MLS playoffs.

It's safe to say Jay Heaps's decision to start Juan Agudelo in the New England Revolution's MLS playoff opener was a right one.

Slotted into the Revs starting XI in place of Charlie Davies, Agudelo scored on a gorgeous bicycle kick 15 minutes into the Revolution's one-off knockout clash against D.C. United at RFK Stadium, stunning the crowd and the hosts to give last season's MLS runner-up an early 1-0 lead.

Agudelo latched onto a cross from Kevin Alston–another lineup change for Heaps–and executed perfect technique to put the Revs on the board, leaving goalkeeper Bill Hamid with no chance.

It's not the first incredible goal Agudelo has scored at RFK Stadium, turning in this self-volley beauty in 2011 to cap a 4-0 win while he was with the New York Red Bulls:

Wednesday night's celebration didn't last long, though. Agudelo exited in the 70th minute with an apparent leg injury, D.C. battled back with goals from Chris Pontius and Chris Rolfe to win 2-1 and eliminate the Revs.
