The international friendly between Spain and Belgium scheduled for Tuesday in Brussels has been postponed due to an elevated terror threat level.

The international friendly between Spain and Belgium scheduled for Tuesday in Brussels has been postponed due to an elevated terror threat level, the Belgian national team announced Monday.

In a statement, the Belgian FA said the country’s government had advised against holding the match.

The decision comes just days after a terrorist attack in Paris that killed more than 130 people. Authorities are currently searching for suspects in Belgium. One suspect, Salah Abdelslam, is a Belgian national and is still at large. Police raided a Brussels suburb Monday for the fourth time since the attacks. The suburb, Molenbeek, has been linked to Islamic extremism since the early 1990s.

The attack in Paris included an attempted bombing at the Stade de France during a soccer game between the French national team and Germany. The suicide bomber reportedly tried to enter the stadium but security discovered his explosive vest.
