Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez maintained his scoring streak Tuesday, netting in his fourth straight game for Bayer Leverkusen in a 3-1 win over Unterhaching in the German Cup (DFB Pokal).

Chicharito scored an equalizer in the 31st minute against the fourth-division side, with a sliding volley right by the post. It's his third goal in the competition and his 18th in 21 games across all competitions for the Bundesliga club since making his summer move from Manchester United. The Mexico international has six goals during his four-game scoring streak.

Chicharito told SI's Liviu Bird while reflecting upon his hot streak that "every goal that I score here is very important for me, and the most important one is the one that I scored most recently I’m a guy with a philosophy in the way that he sees life to live in the present. The past helps you to see what you’re doing good, what you’re doing bad, to improve and to learn. The present is the most important thing because the future, you cannot control.”
