Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is just about done hearing questions about Wayne Rooney, and he's evidently taken note of those who have the England striker under their microscope.

Fielding questions about Rooney during his post-match press conference on Tuesday, Van Gaal called a reporter "fat man" following United's 3-3 draw with Newcastle. Rooney, whose play has been the subject of much criticism this season, scored two goals and assisted on another in the game, with his 79th-minute strike seemingly securing the three points for the Red Devils until they conceded the equalizer in the 90th minute.

"I don't speak anymore about Wayne Rooney. You have criticized him, I don't," Van Gaal, under fire for Manchester United's underachieving performances, said as he headed for the exits, but not before turning back and singling out one reporter. "You too, fat man."
