Watch: Alejandro Bedoya scores French Cup game-winner for Nantes
U.S. men's national team midfielder Alejandro Bedoya scored the winner for FC Nantes in the Coupe de France on Wednesday, bringing the club into the last 16 with an extra-time finish.
Bedoya came on as a substitute in the 104th minute and scored moments later, in stoppage time of the first half of extra time against Mantes 78, a club in France's fourth division. It was Bedoya's first goal for club or country since April 25 against Toulouse in league play, and it provided all Nantes needed in the 1-0 win.
The goal came on some direct Route 1 play, with Bedoya running onto a flicked-on header following a long ball out of the back before finishing from inside the box. Watch below:

Bedoya and Nantes return to action Saturday at home against Bordeaux in a Ligue 1 meeting of mid-table teams.
