England stormed back from a 2–0 deficit to defeat Germany in an international friendly on Saturday.

The defending World Cup champions looked poised to defeat their European counterparts after taking a two-goal lead in the 57th minute, but then the English national side got to work. In the 61st minute, Harry Kane got the Brits on the board with a laser beam into the back-left corner of the net:

Leicester City star Jamie Vardy then knotted things up with an amazing back-heel kick to erase the deficit:

Vardy became the first Leicester player to score for the national team since Gary Lineker in 1985. And in extra time, Eric Dier—Kane’s Tottenham teammate—clinched the victory for England with a sublime header off a corner kick:

It looks like England’s best bet for a World Cup title may be to combine Leicester and the Spurs into one.
