Colombia’s Sebastian Perez scored the highlight goal in his team’s 3–1 victory over Ecuador on Tuesday.

The South American neighbors battled in a World Cup qualifier, and Perez stole the show with an amazing, karate kick-eqsue goal in the 48th minute to give Colombia a 2–0 lead. On a cross into the penalty box, Perez leaps forward, and with his body nearly parallel to the ground, extends his right leg to knock home a goal with the bottom of his foot, all while flying through the air.

Ecuador’s loss to Colombia was their first in six World Cup qualifying matches.
