Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs is contemplating a move to the NFL as a kicker when his career on the soccer pitch is over, according to Sky Sports.

“I have ambitions to become an NFL kicker,” Fuchs said. “Seriously. Depending on the managers in the NFL. If they want a footballer in their team but I am very much up for it.”

“I know I can kick 60 yards or so or 65 yards field goal,” he added. “Let's see. Dreams can come true you know if you don't dream you won't reach anything.”

Fuchs was a part of the NFL's Keepy Up Challenge in January and sported a Carolina Panthers jersey.

Fuchs is 28 and has family in New York so a move back to the United States is not out of the question. He has four assists in 29 games for the Foxes this season.
