Luis Suarez gave Barcelona a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, tallying a pair of goals 11 minutes apart with the visitors reduced to 10 men.

As Barcelona menaced in the opposing third, a cross from Dani Alves found Jordi Alba in the box for a volleyed shot directly at Suarez, who easily tapped in a critical goal.
