X-rays are negative for Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe after LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong stomped on his left ankle on Sunday night, reports SI’s Grant Wahl.

According to the report, nothing is broken, but Nagbe is still waiting on MRI results. MLS is expected to issue a retroactive red card to De Jong for the incident, though a ban length has not yet been set.

Nagbe, who suffered the injury in the 73rd minute of the 1–1 draw, was taken off the field on a stretcher, and eventually a wheelchair, on Sunday.
