Tottenham’s Dele Alli has been suspended for the final three games of the season for punching West Brom’s Claudio Yacob, reports Sky Sports News HQ.

The incident, which occurred during Tottenham’s 1–1 draw Monday against West Brom, involved the PFA Young Player of the Year punching Yacob in the stomach region in off-the-ball action. Alli was charged with alleged violent conduct after the match since the incident was not witnessed by officials, but was, however, caught on video.

Alli, Tottenham’s second-leading scorer with 10 goals this season, responded to the news of his suspension on Thursday with a tweet.
