Burnley's odds to win next year's Premier League are 5,000–1, according to BetVictor. Sound familiar?

Burnley, which earned promotion to next season's Premier League on Monday with a win against QPR, clearly isn't likely to win the 2016–17 Premier League title. But Leicester City's odds to win the Premier League before this season were 5,000–1.

The Foxes, of course, clinched the Premier League title on Monday after Tottenham drew at Chelsea.

Burnley will face Charlton on Saturday in its final league match of the season. 

If history repeats itself, perhaps it’s time to bet on the Clarets.
