Watch: Sporting KC’s Brad Davis scores beautiful curling shot

Sporting Kansas City midfielder Brad Davis scored a gorgeous left-footed curling shot on Sunday night vs. the LA Galaxy

Death, taxes and Brad Davis’s left foot.

The Sporting Kansas City midfielder scored a gorgeous curling effort with a trademark left-footed strike on Sunday night vs. the LA Galaxy. In the 30th minute at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Davis ran onto a header from Graham Zusi, cut inside past Emmanuel Boateng and beat Galaxy goalkeeper Brian Rowe to the far corner.

Davis has scored his last 26 league goals with his left foot, with the last non-lefty goal coming on Sept. 5, 2010. The 15-year MLS veteran and 2011 league MVP was acquired by SKC in January after spending the last 10 years with the Houston Dynamo.

The Galaxy’s Giovani dos Santos equalized on a cheeky chip in the 42nd minute. The game finished tied at 1–1.
