Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike in penalties gave Real Madrid the win in Saturday’s Champions League final.

After Juanfran broke a perfect penalty shootout by hitting the post on Atletico Madrid’s fourth attempt, Ronaldo powered a shot by Jan Oblak into the back of the net to give Real Madrid its record 11th title with a 5-3 triumph after the two sides drew 1-1 through 120 minutes.

“I had a vision,” Ronaldo said after the game. “I saw that I would score the goal of the victory and I told [manager Zinedine Zidane]: ‘Put me in fifth because I will score the winning penalty' and that’s what happened.”

The title is Real Madrid's second in three years and it makes Zidane the seventh person to win the Champions League as a player and manager.
