Watch: Diame golazo wins Premier League promotion playoff for Hull City

Mohamed Diame has made Hull City a top-flight team again, and, perhaps more importantly, made the club almost $250 million richer.
Diame's wonderstrike in the 72nd minute gave Hull City a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in front of 70,189 at Wembley Stadium in Saturday's Premier League promotion playoff final, putting the Tigers back in the EPL after a one-year absence and spoiling Sheffield Wednesday's chances at a first return to the top flight since 2000.
Hull City defeated Derby County in the semifinal round to reach Wembley and had the bulk of the chances throughout the tightly contested match, which is deemed the richest game in sports due to the television money at stake. With the Premier League's new lucrative deal kicking in next season, the promotion final has never been worth more, with the winner earning £170 million.
Ross Wallace put a chance on frame for Sheffield Wednesday in the 16th minute, only to have his free kick parried away by Eldin Jakupovic:

Sheffield Wednesday then cleared off the line from Abel Hernandez's header, with Kieran Lee making the important defensive stop. Controversy ensued, though, when it appeared Lee used his hand to block the ensuing shot on the rebound:
